The intervention strategy of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Elections Project in Haiti is part of the overall objective of UNDP and the international community in Democratic Governance. It is specifically designed to support the national ownership of the Transient College of the Permanent Electoral Council (CTCEP) through a process of transfer of electoral knowledge and skills, in order to meet internationally recognized quality standards.

The 2013-2014 Elections Project is centered on the capacity development and transfer of knowledge to the CTCEP. The Technical Specialist on Electoral Administration and Gender will assist the Elections Chief Technical Advisor in strategic planning, gender mainstreaming, and administrative tasks related to management of the Basket Fund, in a particularly complex political and operational context
