The Delegation of the European Union to Iceland is seeking to recruit a Policy Officer with the following qualifications:
- Knowledge of Icelandic politics, economy, society and media system as well as of the EU
- Relevant university degree or an equivalent professional experience
- Capacity to communicate clearly
- Native Icelandic speaker, fluent in English
The Policy Officer will, among other things, cover the following functions:
- Analysing and reporting on political, economic and EU related issues
- Developing and maintaining good relations with Icelandic media and society
- Management of the Delegation’s web-site, preparation of information material and organisation of communication events
