Administration Unit (m/f) (Ref: AT 1/2017) Traineeship

The Agency:
Detailed information about the CPVO can be found at http://www.cpvo.europa.eu/.  The CPVO is entirely self-financed and has an annual budget of 15M€ and an establishment plan of 46 posts.
The Traineeship Framework:
The Administration Unit of the CPVO deals with the financial, administrative and IT aspects involved in the running of the CPVO. The trainee will participate in the work of the Mailroom/Procurement sector of the Administration Unit. His/her main tasks will include working in with public procurement issues linked to general services and buildings of the CPVO, providing support to the logistics service, the
reception of visitors and incoming mail, document scanning and general administration linked to the smooth running of the CPVO.
Please note that applications can be sent to the Office in any of the official EU languages; knowledge of multiple EU languages is considered an asset.
The Requirements:
  • Candidates must have a degree in Administration or Public Procurement;
  • Can didates have to be at ease in a multicultural environment where the main working languages are English and French;
  • Candidates must have good written and spoken skills at least in French and English;
  • Candidates must have excellent IT skills necessary to perform successfully;
  • They must be able to work autonomously and pay attention to detail;
  • Knowledge of public procurement would be an advantage.
Formal requirements
To be considered eligible, applicants must satisfy the following requirements on the closing date for the submission of applications:
  • Be a national of an EU Member State;
  • Enjoy full rights as a citizen;
  • Have a university degree of at least 3 years of study (minimum a bachelor) linked to administration or public procurement;
  • Have a thorough knowledge of one of the languages of the Communities and satisfactory knowledge of another official language of the Community.

Contractual Conditions:
The successful candidate will be offered a traineeship of 6 months.
