Transparency International (TI) is the global civil society organisation leading the fight against corruption. Through more than 90 chapters worldwide and an international secretariat in Berlin, Germany, TI raises awareness of the damaging effects of corruption and works with partners in government, business and civil society to develop and implement effective measures to tackle it.
In Egypt and Yemen, TI-S has been starting the TI MENA Programme implementation in 2012 in cooperation with contact groups and individual experts and started to broaden its presence in the two countries. In Yemen, the Yemeni Team for Transparency and Integrity is the formal contact group, the first stage to becoming a TI accredited chapter, whereas in Egypt, TI is working to find one or more strategic partners. This position may be extended to cover one or more other regional countries. In order to intensify the work in the two countries, Transparency International Secretariat (TI-S) in Berlin is seeking to recruit a highly motivated, dynamic and results-oriented professional to work as a Regional Coordinator for Egypt and Yemen. Based in Berlin with regular long missions in Egypt and Yemen and other regional countries, the Regional Coordinator for Egypt and Yemen will work towards strengthening TI’s presence, reputation and impact in the Egypt and Yemen.
