The European Union (EU) is an economic and political partnership between 28 European countries. It plays an important role in international affairs through diplomacy, trade, development aid and working with global organisations. Abroad, the EU is represented through more than 140 diplomatic representations, known also as EU Delegations, which have a similar function to those of an embassy.
The EU Delegation to Libya is currently running a €100 million program in Libya to address some of the most pressing needs. Activity includes support in the fields of: Reconciliation, elections and the constitutional process, Protection of human rights and women’s empowerment, Security and justice, Border management and security (EUBAM), Migration, Public administration reform, Health , Education, vocational training and culture, Media and civil society.

They offer a post of Interpreter to support the activities of the Political section.
The EU delegation’s size is +/- 25 people (gender balanced team). The place of employment is Tunis. The starting basic gross monthly salary is 3.560 TND.

A holder of university degree with at least 3 years’ experience in Interpretation from English to Arabic and vice versa is required.
