Doctoral Researcher: Global Governance and Democratic Government

For its research programme on Global Governance and Democratic Government the Leuven Centre for Global Governance Studies is currently recruiting a researcher with specific expertise in political economy. The successful candidate will work closely together with a team of researchers coming from different disciplinary backgrounds. The project investigates the democratisation of global governance, with a specific focus on issues of democratic representation, global institutions and the provision of global public goods.

Project

  • You conduct doctoral research in political economy under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Christophe Crombez.
  • You are part of an ambitious, interdisciplinary research project studying the democratisation of global governance.
  • You contribute to the current and future research activities of the Leuven Centre for Global Governance Studies.
  • You will be part of an exciting new and dynamic interdisciplinary research Centre near Brussels which brings together young academic talent from across the globe.

KU Leuven offers an employment as full-time researcher starting in October 2014 for 1 year, renewable up to four years.
