The Division of Policy and Governance for Health and Well-being (PCR) is located in Copenhagen and the Venice Office (Geographically Dispersed Office) reports to it. Its mission is to provide strategic and technical leadership in a number of key cross-cutting programmatic areas, and to coordinate the implementation of the new European Policy and Strategy for Health and Well-being-Health 2020.
Eligibility/Requirements
Advanced university degree in social or health sciences (essential). Medical degree and/or PhD in public health or a related field (desirable). Knowledge in the areas of health policy development, public health and social determinants of health and equity. Thorough knowledge of WHO’s mission, goals, policies, rules and regulations.
