Job Vacancy: An energetic and highly motivated Communications and Media Assistant to support the media team of the EU Delegation to Australia in devising and executing its communication strategies with a particular focus on digital media.
The selected candidate will provide support in drafting various communications, maintaining the Delegation’s website and providing support to improve the visibility and knowledge of the EU in Australia.
Eligibility / Requirements: The candidate should have at least 3-5 years work experience in relevant fields (media, online publishing, public relations etc.) or a degree in the relevant sector (journalism, public relations, political science, media, history, international relations etc.).
Candidates should possess excellent social media and drafting skills and a good knowledge of local media. Knowledge of the European Union and Australian politics would be an asset.
Note: This is a permanent position with a competitive salary package.
