Theme: E = MC 2(016): Empowering, Mobilising, Connecting
The Youth Forum Academy is an essential and one of the most highly valued parts of the European Youth Forum’s support and services for the member organisations.
The latest edition took place in 2014, in Vilnius, Lithunia.
The 2016 edition will take place from 28 June to 1 July in Paris, France, hosted by CNAJEP, the French National Youth Council.
The Youth Forum Academy 2016 has the following objectives:
member and partner youth organisations.
The Youth Forum Academy 2016 will run for two days and a half and will be structured around various workshop session and a joint open space session.
The program consists of 9 capacity building workshops on:
– Anti-discrimination legislation (EU and national leveles)
– Participation to sustainable development goals
– Internal communication
– Social media
– Quality standards for youth policy
– Lobbying for beginners
– Non-Formal Education Quality Assurance
– Youth participation
Signing up to the specific sessions will happen after confirmation of your participation.
The joint open space session will be a market place of ideas providing space to participating organisations to showcase projects or bring a topic to the floor.

Selection criteria: Participants will be selected on the basis of the following criteria:
– Reflect membership diversity
– Motivation and interest as indicated through the application form
– 10% rule for non-member organisation participants
Number of participants: 50
Additional information: In accordance with Work Plan objective 2.4 to build capacity of existing and new youth organisations and networks in Europe and support their development, meanwhile encouraging them to become involved in the European Youth Forum, the 10% non-member organisations rule for participants will be applied.
Participants are encouraged to attend the whole Academy.
