Job mission

Under the authority of the Registrar of the Court and a Head of a legal Division, and initially under close supervision, the incumbent will provide a variety of secretarial support, in compliance with general guidelines and priorities and with a concern for quality, efficiency and accuracy.

Key activities

The incumbent performs the following key duties:

  • processes judgments, minutes, decisions and other documents of the Court;
  • drafts and formats standard correspondence; prepares correspondence according to the appropriate instructions;
  • uses applications database: enters and maintains case-related data in the Court Management Informations System (CMIS);
  • handles and files mail and documents;
  • keeps electronic and paper files up-to-date;
  • looks after lists, databases and statistics related to the cases;
  • answers telephone requests for information; receives and guides visitors and applicants;
  • attends training courses to acquire and deepen knowledge specific to the job.

Please note that the incumbent may be required to perform other duties not listed in the vacancy notice.
