Under the direct supervision of the Director of the International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP) and in consultation with UNESCO DIR/HRM, the incumbent of the post will be responsible for supervising and managing the work of the Personnel Section, including ensuring continuity in the delivery of personnel services, and providing a full range of human resource management services and advice to the management and staff of the ICTP. These responsibilities cover the following HR areas: Job Classification, Recruitment and Selection, Entitlements & Benefits, Payroll and Staff Development The position will support the exercise of a range of delegations to the ICTP from the Director, Human Resources of UNESCO.
