Vifor Pharma are currently looking for a Public Affairs Manager to join their Global Communications & Public Affairs team at Vifor Pharma.
The role will be reporting to the Head Global Communications & Public Affairs. Your tasks and responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Establish and manage external government authority relations
- Early identification of potential strategic-/political issues to address
- Develop issues & position
- Develop and implement stakeholder management & advocacy plans
- Participate and support cross-functional disease management awareness programs
- Develop yearly public affairs plans with government officials and authorities in close collaboration with local affiliates and partners
- Support in key messages and stakeholder management plans, development and implementation
- Assure alignment with Global Medical, Marketing and Pricing & Market access departments
- Coordinate between Associations and Vifor Pharma
YOUR PROFILE
- The successful candidate holds a dual background with a University degree in life science, business, communications or related field as well as proven experience with healthcare providers and communication/media. In addition, the successful candidate will bring the following qualifications and skills set:
- 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in public affairs and external communications/media relations within the pharmaceutical industry
- Documented track record with healthcare providers, in public affairs and external communications
- Fluency in English, both in oral and in written communications, additional language knowledge preferable
- Knowledge of stakeholder management
- Documented experience with media, healthcare providers and /or authorities
