Program Assistant – Finance and Private Sector Development, World Bank

world bankThe World Bank Egypt Country Office is headed by the Country Director for the Country Management Unit of Egypt, Yemen and Djibouti. The Egypt office has around sixty staff representing different units as Finance and Private Sector Development, Human Development, Poverty Reduction and Economic Management, and Sustainable Development.

The Office is seeking to recruit a Program Assistant to support the Finance and Private Sector Development (MNSFP) unit, World Bank.

This position coordinates extensively with service units and liaises frequently with team members both in the Cairo Office and at headquarters in Washington, as well as external counterparts.

The successful candidate will be recruited for a one year appointment. Depending on satisfactory performance evidenced by review at the end of the first contract and available financing, the contract may be extended for a second year.

Location: Cairo, Egypt
