Job mission
Under the authority of the Director of the European Directorate for the Quality of Medicines and Healthcare and the Head of the Department, the incumbent ensures professional scientific assistance, in accordance with procedures, guidelines and priorities and with a concern for quality, efficiency and accuracy, and in compliance with Council of Europe’s values and regulations.

Key activities
The incumbent performs the following key duties:
- ensures the executive secretariat of meetings of groups of experts and working parties: preparation of meetings, agendas and reports; provision of assistance to the chairs and experts of assigned groups in obtaining samples and preparing working documents, especially draft new and revised monographs, ensuring their consistency and compliance with the technical guide for the elaboration of monographs and the drafting guide; follow up of meetings;
- follows up laboratory studies in co-operation with the study directors;
- prepares texts in view of their publication in Pharmeuropa, to be presented to the Commission, then final texts for transmission to the Publications and Multimedia Department;
- participates in the general revision of monographs (Reader’s Group);
- reports to supervisor(s) on the results achieved and on problems resolved.
