ORGANISATIONAL CONTEXT
The Strategy and Safety Management Directorate includes essential functions to strengthen the Agency’s strategy, consolidate its existing safety risk management capability, foster international cooperation and promote a performance based approach to managing safety.
The Strategy and Programmes Department is responsible for defining the Agency strategy and establishing the necessary safety and business programming and planning documents, in cooperation with the other Directorates and external parties, as necessary.
The Business Programmes Section is responsible for the successful coordination of the EASA multi annual and annual planning through the governance of the processes covering the Agency strategy, resources allocation, definition of the performance indicators. Equally the Business Programmes Section is responsible of the execution monitoring (i.e. KPI performance, special programmes oversight, business risks monitoring and the annual general report).
JOB CONTENT
The jobholder will report to the Section Manager of the Business Programmes Section within the Strategy and Programmes Department. He/she will assist the Section Manager in his/her tasks related to the planning and performance measuring of the Agency’s activities.
He/she will be in particular responsible for:
1. Contributing to the design and/or improvement and implementation of the planning and reporting system;
2. Contributing to the preparation of the Agency’s strategic plan, the multi-annual planning documents, and annual general report;
3. Designing or contributing to the definition and implementation of the management reporting, key performance indicators (KPI) and scoreboards;
4. Developing the Databases used to manage the available information;
5. Working on ad hoc projects, providing process related and economic analysis and recommendations to the Agency’s management.
The European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) is an Agency of the European Union with specific regulatory responsibilities and executive tasks in the area of aviation safety. Based in Cologne, Germany, EASA plays a key role in the European Union’s strategy to establish and maintain a high uniform level of civil aviation safety in Europe.
Monthly basic salary: 3.170,61 EUR at step 1, plus specific allowances where applicable.
