Interpreter/Translator for a twinning project – Republic of Moldova

eeas-logoThe Twinning project  MD13/ENP/FI/12b “Consolidation and Strengthening the External Public Audit in the Republic of Moldova”, is a joint project between HAUS Finnish Institute of Public Management Ltd, the Court of Accounts of Moldova and the Spanish Court of Audit. Interpreter/Translator is required for the project.

Tasks of the Interpreter/Translator

  • Interpreting training events, meetings and other oral conversations from English to Romanian and vice versa;
  • Translating documents, training materials, information materials and other written material from English to Romanian and vice versa;
  • To support in administrative and project management tasks when needed
  • Perform other tasks assigned by the Resident Twinning Advisor (RTA)

Conditions of employment

The successful applicant will be a self-employed independent consultant and she/he will undertake full responsibility for the payment of all taxes and obligations deriving from the legislation in force, including for those related to medical and social insurance. The assignment is full-time; the RTA Assistant contract will run from the date of the signature throughout the period of implementation of the Twinning Contract.

The project is expected to be launched in September 2014. The twinning project end is estimated in September 2016 (optional prolongation is possible). The project office will be located in the premises of the Court of Accountants in Chisinau. The remuneration consists of € 1.100 per month. According to the EU Twinning regulations, interpreter/translator funded by the Twinning contract must not have had, at least during the 6 months preceding their recruitment, any contractual relation with the beneficiary administration.
