The Create a Climate for Peace Campaign is a worldwide campaign of SCI partners, branches and working groups starting in 2014. Its main aims are contributing to the transformation of our cultures from consumerism and violence towards sustainability and peace on all levels. The campaign consists of related activities within workcamps and awarness rising actions, in addition at 2 projects covering the whole world. The campaign will be coordinated by a Coordination Team
composed by 4 SCI activists and representatives of IS. The LTV will take part in this team with others representatives of IS.
Support communication (internal and external)
Follow up on inquiries on email@example.com
Keep track of the activities of the coordination team and facilitate the flow of information between the various actors involved in the campaign; provide content for website, social media, ezine and online talkshow
Support project Citizens going Global (funded by EACEA) and project Nonviolence Needs nature (funded by EYF) with the following tasks:
- facilitate the work of project prep-teams with monitoring and implementation of the projects, avoiding overlapping and facilitating synergies between the two projects and the overall campaign o contribute to the producing the outputs foreseen by the two projects o Maintain efficient lines of communication with local and international partners for the two projects
Also the LTV will be expected to share the general work of the office.
