Eurostat video contest

To celebrate their achievements and the power of statistics, Eurostat are launching a video contest where you could be in with the chance of winning €5 000 – Eurostat Your Take on Statistics Video Contest

All you need to do is grab a video camera or your phone, put your creative thinking cap on and come up with an inspirational and eye-catching video in one of the three contest categories!

Category #1: Measuring economic performance in your region
Category #2: European inflation – Prices in motion
Category #3: Comparing prices across Europe

Timetable
Deadline for submission: 31 October 2014
Evaluation process: from 1 November 2014 until 14 November 2014
Public voting: from 15 November 2014 until 15 December 2014
Prize winners are announced: By end December 2014
Prize award ceremony: By end April 2015

Prizes
In total, 9 monetary and 3 non-monetary prizes will be awarded.
The monetary prizes for the winners in each of the three categories will be: 

1st prize: € 5 000
2nd prize: € 2 000
3rd prize: € 1 000
