Last year the European Commissioner for International Cooperation, Humanitarian Aid and Crisis Response Kristalina Georgieva announced a new initiative to help people get experience in humanitarian volunteering. This global initiative aims to create 25 000 opportunities for volunteers, including more than 4 000 deployments in humanitarian operations worldwide between 2014 and 2020. See current vacancies here
