Immediate is looking for a Digital Design Intern to join their Commercial team.
You will be designing digital advertisements and campaigns for a broad client base across Immediate’s entire portfolio. As a recent graduate or with similar qualifications you will have a great eye for design and be bursting with ideas. Throughout your internship you will receive regular mentoring and coaching from various members of the team. You’ll come armed with enthusiasm, a glut of creative ideas, a can-do attitude and a hunger to learn.
You will be working closely with other digital designers producing outstanding creative work for campaigns. Drawing on Immediate’s extensive knowledge of design across all devices and formats, you’ll develop your skills and get the opportunity to really push yourself, working with some really talented people in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will be involved in all aspects of the creative process, from brainstorming ideas with the sales teams to producing high quality, multi-level campaigns. You’ll work on all kinds of briefs and projects across the Immediate portfolio, so a ﬂexible, can-do attitude is a must! Typical projects will include research, designing high-impact ads, microsites, and mock-ups for pitches. You will learn to manage your own time productively to ensure the completion of quality work under the pressure of tight deadlines.
Immediate wants someone who is bursting at the seams with ideas and obsessed with design, who also has a great eye for detail. You should be a great communicator and not afraid to discuss your work with colleagues. You’ll also possess a portfolio showcasing good use of typography, design layouts, conceptual innovation and creative thinking. A basic knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Fireworks is a must. You should be up-to-date with advertising trends and have a good eye for imagery and typography. The right candidate will be flexible in their approach in order to get the best outcome. The ability to make a decent round of tea is desired, but not essential.
