Then join Junior Chamber International The Heart of Europe (JCI THOE) on 11 May for a presentation by Kamil MROZ, IPMA Young Project Manager of the Year and President of JCI THOE who will provide a training on managing a successful project with real impact!

While project management can be a very complex subject with many different methodologies on the market, this training aims to provide you with the necessary skills, knowledge and competencies a project manager needs to succeed.
The training will be based on lessons learned, tips and advice from Mr. Mroz’s journey into project management as a profession. This journey has been defined by striking the balance between the arts (PM soft skills) and sciences (PM certifications – PRINCE2, IPMA, PMP..etc), but above all practical experience outside of work (volunteer work, student experiences and building bridges between generations).

Biography:
Mr. Mroz graduated in Biochemistry and Chemical Engineering from the University of Ottawa, Canada and holds an MA in International Relations from the University of Kent, Brussels. He has been managing projects for over 8 years in executive capacities for associations in Canada and Belgium. As an undergraduate student, he initiated and led an international youth leadership project in Canada entitled Quo Vadis.
More recently, he initiated the (Y)our Future Project, which aims to help unemployed youth to find employment in Brussels, a program now emulated in several countries in Europe. For his initiative, Kamil was awarded the International Project Management Association (IPMA) Young Project Manager of the Year Achievement Award in 2013.
Mr. Mroz has been well recognized for his community service work and is frequently invited to speak on leadership, community development, project management and youth empowerment/capacity-building. Mr. Mroz will be featured in PM Network Magazine in March 2015 on “How young people can break into the career path of Project Management” and contributed the Forward to best-selling author’s Peter Taylor’s book “Real Project Management”.
