The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) is looking for a Publications Assistant
As a member of a team, and under the guidance of the Unit Head, the Publications Assistant processes manuscripts submitted for publication in the Nuclear Fusion journal, through the course of the peer review. He/she also assists in matters relating to IAEA intellectual property of all the IAEA scientific and technical publications.
In carrying out the regular duties of the post, the Publications Assistant establishes relationships with colleagues in the Publishing Section, stakeholders throughout the house and external clients seeking advice and assistance. He/she also has contact with the Nuclear Fusion journal’s consultant Editor and with staff of the external co-publisher on matters involving the production of the journal and its authors and referees. In addition, the Publications Assistant interacts with third party service providers, such as aggregators and abstracting agencies.
The IAEA offers an attractive remuneration package including a tax-free annual net base salary starting at €41 947 (subject to mandatory deductions for pension contributions and health insurance), 6 weeks’ annual vacation, pension plan and health insurance.
