12th – 19th July 2015, Belgrade, Serbia

The youth association World Youth Wave announces the Official Call for Applications for the 9th International Student Week in Belgrade – ISWiB 2015 which will be held from 12th to 19th July 2015 in Belgrade, Serbia. This year’s festival theme is Unwrap!

Each year, ISWiB gathers around 200 students from more than 40 countries and it represents one of the largest student festivals in the South-Eastern Europe. The aim of the project is creating a youth network, increase of tolerance and fight against stereotypes. Participants will work with their colleagues in a particular workshop in order to come up with possible and sustainable solutions for specific problems offered. All the workshops are design to fit this year’s theme of the festival. More about the theme you can find at www.iswib.org.

This year there will be 10 different workshops. Each of the workshops will have a specific problem to stress out and a different technique to use:

  • Unwrap the Critic
  • Unwrap the StartApp
  • Unwrap the Pattern
  • Unwrap Belgrade
  • Unwrap the Contrast
  • Unwrap the Unexpected
  • Unwrap that Walk of Life
  • Unwrap the Old Hold
  • Unwrap the Antibiotic
  • Guerilla Unwrap

ISWiB targets all students. All fields of study are welcome, since we will be dealing with different problems from different areas of science, culture and society. Recently graduated students are also encouraged to apply.

The participation fee is 120€ for foreign students and 40€ for domestic students.

The fee for foreign students includes accommodation, food (3 meals per day) and all workshop expenses. For domestic students, the fee includes food and all workshops expenses, without accommodation provided. Students currently studying in Serbia can be accommodated in the student dormitory as well if they want to. The participation fee for those who want to stay in the dormitory is the same as the one for participants from abroad. It would include accommodation, food as well as all workshop expenses.

Travel, visa and personal expenses must be covered by participants themselves. World Youth Wave and ISWiB Team may not provide any travel reimbursement or financial support.

Application deadline: 1st April 2015, 23:59 CET!
