Call for Applications: Advanced Training Programme for a Young Journalist to be seconded by a News Agency

News agency journalists under age 35 from Albania, Austria, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Italy, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia and Ukraine are eligible.

The Central European Initiative (CEI) Secretariat is launching an “Advanced Training Program for a Young Journalist.” The selected candidate will work with the CEI and the Italian National News Agency (ANSA) staffs in Trieste, Italy, for the initial phase of operation of the ANSA New Europe Portal and its development. The journalist will also carry out tasks linked to communication and information as well as other CEI media activities.

The program will last for seven months (renewable for another seven months). The candidate will receive a (non taxable) fellowship of EUR1,500 per month. Journalist must have an excellent knowledge of English and a good knowledge of Italian.
