Greenpeace_logoAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a creative, enthusiastic and highly collaborative Video Producer to join Greenpeace, the world’s most iconic and determined campaigning organisation.

Greenpeace is an independent global campaigning organisation that acts to change attitudes and behaviour, in order to protect and conserve the environment and promote peace.

They are looking for a Video Producer to join the Programme Team at their head office in Islington, where you will apply your experience of delivering high quality video output to tight deadlines, whilst managing multiple video projects with a portfolio of innovative and experienced Film Makers.

In this pivotal role, you will collaborate on project teams for Greenpeace campaigns, visualise, plan and deliver image outputs, plus propose plans, storyboards and scripts for videos.

Reporting to the Head of Photo and Video, you will also:

  • Commission freelancers and production companies, plus brief and oversee the quality of their output
  • Contribute to the decision-making process at a senior level
  • Advise project teams on use of video, including the role of videos in project, action and event planning
  • Actively partner with the Digital Mobilisation team
  • Research, prepare and present photo and video budgets.

To be successful you will be motivated, flexible and innovative, with a wealth of video production experience, particularly in working to tight deadlines and delivering projects on time and on budget. You will also be able to demonstrate a proven track record of working as part of project teams with specific objectives.

In addition, you will have:

  • Editing skills in packages such as Premiere and Final Cut Pro
  • A strong background with social media video production and the production of short films with a low budget and fast turnaround
  • Experience managing a YouTube channel
  • Experience of managing freelancers and successfully setting and evaluating their output.

Salary: Up to £38,412 pa, depending on experience
