UN Youth Academic Conference in Bucharest

This year’s edition of the United Nations Youth Academic Conference will consist in discussions aiming to answer the question “What challenges does UN face in 2015?

Through this event are invited scholars, researchers and young professionals to present their research work and reflections upon the following topics:

  • Peace and Security;
  • Human Rights;
  • International Development.

Also, the programme includes keynote lectures carried by experts, scholars and professors in the three main areas of discussion. Nonetheless, the participants will have the chance to get better acquainted with each other and share their views during the social activities as well. Accordingly, during the three days of the conference, they shall dwell within an interactive and thought-provoking environment, where both social and professional networking will be possible. The event will take place at Bucharest, Romania from 6 to 8 November 2015.

Eligibility

Scholars, researchers and young professionals interested in mentioned topics are eligible to apply.

Costs

60 EUR (without accommodation), 100 EUR (with accommodation)

The participation fee includes:

  • accommodation (by case) : included nights 5/6, 6/7, and 7/8 November;
  • lunches;
  • coffee breaks and snacks;
  • welcoming kit;
  • participation certificate;
  • access to social events.

Application

In order to register as a panelist to the UN Youth Academic Conference 2015, you have to fill in the registration form and send it along with the abstract of your academic paper to the following e-mail address: ac@unyouth.ro.

You can send your paper proposal until the 1st of September 2015.
