Student Internship in Meeting Services, Webcast & Events (6 months)




Roche-logoThe webcast team is based in Basel, Switzerland and provides a global service to Roche users in publishing video, audio and slide content as live or on-demand webcasts.

The internship offers an insight into the daily business of the Global Webcast and Event Services team at Roche. It consists of several modules, covering the different areas as listed below and will last at least 6 months.
Your tasks will include but not be limited to the following:
  • Webcast video on demand post production. You will be handling video on demand productions by yourself (core module)
  • Webcast production (live)
  • Webcast preparation
  • Webcast coordination
  • Event coordination
Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to work in the technical support department of the large auditorium and in other meeting rooms, like the small auditorium or the meeting rooms at the Convention Center Basel.

Your qualifications:
  • You are a Bachelor or Master student of Informatics or Media Informatics, or you are alternatively studying in a related area, e.g. Audio/Visual Technology
  • Good English language skills (written and spoken), German is considered an advantage
  • Openness, willingness and enthusiasm to work in a global team
  • Knowledge in the audio-visuals area is an advantage
  • Willingness to learn and an open mind for a global company’s processes
 
The start date for this internship is January 2016.
In order to be considered, applications need to include a CV and a cover letter.

Due to regulations non-EU/EFTA citizens must provide a certificate from the university stating that an internship is mandatory as part of the application documents.
