Projects & Partnerships Development Officer, Minority Rights Group International

This role will be split between two key components:

1) Programme design and partnership development;

2) Fundraising and donor relations.

This is a a full time or part-time post based in London, with potentially significant travel, and a permanent post that will be reviewed after one year.

Eligibility/Requirements: At least two years of experience designing and implementing projects and one year of experience as a fundraiser in a non-profit organisation. Excellent communication, organisational and numeracy skills. Experience in engaging with a wide range of stakeholders, including lower capacity partners in the developing world and intergovernmental agencies.

MRG is looking to recruit a Projects & Partnerships Development Officer to help respond to the growing needs of minority communities worldwide by formulating and designing new projects and initiatives, as well as developing partnerships with a wide range of stakeholders to guarantee the successful implementation of these new pieces of work. In addition, the post-holder will be responsible for adapting programmes to funders’ requirements, submitting applications, nurturing donors and submitting reports. We are seeking an individual who has thorough understanding of the project cycle, project design and management tools, as well as fundraising methods with a track record of designing projects that have successfully attracted support from governments as well as trusts and foundations. Candidates must also have knowledge of human and minority rights, as well as demonstrated experience engaging and negotiating with funding bodies.
