International Training Centre, established by the International Labour Organization and the Italian Government in 1964 in Turin as an advanced vocational training institute, provides training and related services that develop human resources and institutional capabilities.
DELTA programme has a double mandate: to strengthen the Centre’s in-house capacity to apply state-of-the-art learning and knowledge-sharing methods and technology, and to provide training services to outside partners.
In particular, the e-Campus is intended to position the Centre strategically in the landscape of e-learning. This central knowledge sharing hub will gradually contain self- guided e-learning modules, tutor-based e-learning programmes, on-line communities of practices, webinars, promotional materials, and relevant ILO knowledge products.
The intern will become familiar with e-learning quality improvement scheme in the centralized e-Campus.
For this, the OpenECBcheck will be used, an accreditation and quality improvement scheme for E-Learning programmes and institutions in international Capacity Building. The instrument supports capacity development organizations to measure how successful their e-learning programmes are and allows for continuous improvement though peer collaboration and bench learning.
The outputs of this internship are:
An up to date desk review of the current state of quality and e-learning at ITC-ILO.
A self-assessment and peer-assessment of three ITC-ILO e-learning courses.
A report on the current e-learning development of the e-Campus.
