International Advocate & Researcher – Freedom from Torture

Freedom-from-Torture-logoAn exciting opportunity has arisen to lead Freedom from Torture’s international advocacy aimed at preventing torture and ensuring those responsible for torture are held accountable.

You will develop research, policy analysis and advocacy strategies to support Freedom from Torture’s ‘Accountability’ programme and build and manage important relationships with international institutions, foreign and domestic policy communities and partner organizations.

You will champion survivor-led activism and collaborate with research and advocacy colleagues, clinicians, legal and welfare advisors and other Freedom from Torture staff and survivors to ensure our formidable evidence base is harnessed to shine a light on torture practices around the world and deliver positive change for the benefit of survivors.
