CVCE Quiz for the 2015 Luxembourg Presidency of the Council of the European Union

quiz-logo-Centre-Virtuel-de-la-Connaissance-sur-l-Europe-CVCE-luxembourgIn connection with the Luxembourg Presidency of the Council of the European Union, the Centre Virtuel de la Connaissance sur l’Europe (CVCE), a public institution for research and documentation on the European integration process is organising a major online competition from 3 July to 31 December 2015 entitled the CVCE Europa Quiz.

The competition is being organised in partnership with the Luxembourg Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, Digital Letzebuerg, the European Commission Representation in Luxembourg and the European Parliament Information Office in Luxembourg.
The quiz will be an official 2015 Luxembourg Presidency event; it is launched on 3 July 2015 in connection with the opening festivities for the Presidency.

The competition is open to residents of the 28 European Union Member States. The aim is to raise awareness about European integration and the specific role played by Luxembourg in that process, and to provide a testbed for the design of innovative digital tools for knowledge transfer.
The competition is available in French, German and English.

Various prizes are available, including:

– 1 trip to Cape Verde donated by LuxairTours for two people, flying from Luxembourg in the winter season

– 6 Interrail One Country Passes for Benelux (8 travel days within 1 month) donated by the Luxembourg railways (CFL)

– 6 Experience Stays donated by MONDORF Domaine Thermal including spa treatments, saunas, hammams, terraces and pools

– 3 GoPro HERO4 Silver cameras donated by POST Luxembourg

– 3 GoPro HERO4 Silver cameras donated by Nvision

Play from 3 July to 31 December 2015, answering 1 question per day. Anyone wishing to take part in the competition can sign up at any point between 3 July and 31 December.
