Administrative Assistant – EU Delegation to Guyana

eeas-logoUnder the overall responsibility of the Head of Delegation and the direct responsibility of the Head of the Administrative Section, the Administrative Assistant will be responsible for the execution of the following tasks:

  • Personnel Management – management of leave, responsible for the pre-recruitment functions, preparation of employment contracts.
  • Expatriate Staff – all matters related to the arrival at the Delegation and accommodation of officials, maintenance and security of premises.
  • Tender and Contract management – management of external contracts; rental contracts, maintenance contracts, security contracts etc.
  • Operational verification for all contract related payments
  • Budget management – monitoring and amendment of the budget to ensure optimum utilisation; supervise the procurement functions of the Delegation.
  • Management of the Delegation’s assets
